In short, this blog exists because there is a segment of people who are trained in tactical and strategic effectiveness in areas of security, high level executive protection, law enforcement, general and special operations military units, etc. but they are told (either overtly or by actions) that they have an irreconcilable problem....they love God too!
I warn you....some people (especially more "religious" minded individuals) will see this blog as being pretty radical but I encourage you to look up the scriptures discussed, pray about it and let the Lord minister the Truth to you, and the Truth (not necessarily what you always thought the truth was) will MAKE you free!!
I can't even tell you the number of times I've heard "how can you say you're a Christian and love God and yet be prepared to kill someone?!?!" This question demonstrates nothing but a complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and of God Himself.
For example, did you know that the Bible does not say "Thou shalt not kill"? And yet thousands and thousands of people through the years have heard that! Even if they personally didn't go to church, they had a grandma that drug them there when they were little and I guarantee if they attended over 2 Sunday school classes they hear that! What the Bible DOES say there is "Thou shalt not commit murder"!! That's a whole different situation entirely!!
Additionally, even if an operator is able to somehow be at complete peace with what he/she trains to be able to do, the vast majority of time they have no idea that they can use their faith to obtain specific promises to either directly or indirectly improve their ability to provide a level of protection, service, intel or combat that is simply not available to people who are not aware of all that is available to them.
Almost all of the training for the fields I mentioned previously focus on physical training (whether it be exercise, hand to hand combat tactics, survival skills, etc.) and mental preparedness (controlled aggression drills, interrogation resistance training, classroom instruction, etc.) but almost no one trains in the most important aspect.....the one I Thessalonians 5:23 lists as the top priority.....the spiritual training and preparation needed to really make you the irresistible force and the immovable object all at the same time!
The Christian operator (in whatever field of expertise they're in) should be the most trusted, sought after and (if you're the enemy) feared operator on the face of the earth because they are the most effective, unbeatable unstoppable and lethal operator anyone will ever encounter!
